On The Road

On the road AYM A readers response to On the Road, by Langston Hughes. My first response to this short story was very confusing, Is the source talking about heaven and hell? After reading material the story again and listening to a class discussion, I realize the story is about racial discrimination. Im impressed with the creation of typic images Hughes uses to portray his views on racism. I feel that two situation emblems are very significant to this story. The first significant symbol is the cold, white snow. Hughes repetition of the cold, snow portrays his views of the white order of magnitude.
